Adele has released her first single in 3 years. It’s called Hello, it’s available on iTunes and her album, 25, will be out November 20th.
Mark Wahlberg is Asleep by 7p Every Night
HOW DOES HE DO IT? Mark Wahlberg opened up to Ellen about his life at home with his family. He is in bed by 7p every night and wakes up at 3a to hit the gym, which is clearly paying off because he did 22 pull ups in 30 seconds to raise money for breast cancer while on the show. He also revealed that his wife likes him to dress up like a handy man in a wife beater shirt and carry a hammer and pretend to fix things. LOL! (And PS can we PLEASE change the name of those stupid tank tops?)
Tony + Gaga: Album #2
Tony Bennet was gushing about Lady Gaga once again, saying their relationship was very symbiotic because he gained many younger fans, and his older fans gained a lot of respect for Gaga. Tony added that he thinks she will be a huge movie star one day and the two plan on doing another album together, this time of all Cole Porter songs.
Beyonce & Jay Z Reportedly Took a Break 10 Years Ago
According to a new book, Beyonce and Jay Z reportedly took a bit of a break about 10 years ago, before they were married, because of a rumored affair between Jay Z and Rihanna. The book, which is the “untold story” called Becoming Beyonce, claims that Jay Z never even touched Rihanna, actually; it was totally made up by Rihanna’s publicist. But it apparently rocked Jay Z and Beyonce’s relationship so much that Beyonce had to take about a year to deal with it. (If this is true, two things: 1. disgusting how a publicist would do that & 2. rock on to Bey for taking a few to figure that ish out!)
Sam Smith Wants to be a Figurehead for Gay Community
Sam Smith has revealed that he wants to be a spokesman in the gay community who speaks for gay men. Sam said “I sell records in countries where gay men get killed … maybe one person will pick up my album, realize it’s by a gay artist, and it might change their opinion.”
One Direction Video: Hotel Booked Solid
One Direction featured the Intercontinental hotel in New York City in their new video for Perfect… and apparently the hotel has seen a surge in bookings. The penthouse where Harry lays on the bed in the video is booked solid for the rest of the week… and it costs $5,000 per night. And the other suites are sold out – they go for $1500. GOOD LORD!
Fans Offering Kidney to Lamar… for a Price
Lamar Odom had to undergo two surgeries yesterday… so he’s most definitely not out of the woods by any means. There have been reports that his kidneys are failing, and lots of fans are offering theirs up to him. Some are doing it out of the goodness of their hearts… and some are asking for $100,000.
Kate Winslet Proves Again she’s a Badass Chick
Kate Winslet is opening up about her contract with Lancome makeup. She wrote it into her contract that they’re not allowed to retouch her ads at all. (AWESOME.) She says that young women look to magazines and to people they admire, so she “would always want to be telling the truth about who [she is] … because they’ve got to have strong leaders.” YES YES YES!
