Kanye West Freaks Out on Music Producer
Kanye West has fired back at a veteran music producer named Bob Ezrin who’s worked with Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel and Alice Cooper – to name just a few. Ezrin said Kanye will not leave a legacy like Jay Z, Tupac or Biggie. Kanye responded: “has anybody heard of Bob Ezrin? I’m tired of old people that have no connection with anything trying to comment on music! Your kids are ashamed of their dad… Sorry for speaking about kids… I’m so sorry for them… I will send them free Yeezys to make up for the embarrassment that you have caused your family!” (Remember when he said he wouldn’t bring kids back into arguments? Cool.)
Lena Dunham Pens Open Letter About Kesha
Lena Dunham penned an open letter regarding the Kesha/Sony/Dr Luke legal battle, opposing the offer that Sony extended to Kesha, which was to let her record with other producers. Lena wrote “imagine someone… scared you and abused you, threatened your family. The judge says that you don’t have to see them again, but they still own your house. So they can decide when to turn the heat on and off, whether they’ll pay the telephone bill or fix the roof when it leaks. After everything you’ve been through, do you feel safe living in that house? Do you trust them to protect you?”
Kesha Thanks Colleagues, Supporters
Kesha has thanked her colleagues and fans for the outpouring of support during her legal battle with Sony and Producer Dr. Luke. Meanwhile, Kesha’s attorney clarified Dr. Luke’s statement that years ago in another court case Kesha denied any abuse by Dr Luke. Her lawyer says that is true, and the reason Kesha lied is simply because Dr. Luke threatened her and her family.
